Decorex Cape Town is always a great source of inspiration and this year was no different.

My favourite stand was that of designer Tracy Lee Lynch who used cross-stitch in various ways to represent the theme “Bliss”.

It was great to see so many interior design trends and ideas, especially the ‘room sets’. Mr Price had a great stand showcasing their little girls range.

M-Net Cares Room to Grow by Mr Price Home

After the exhibition all the furniture featured in the show (and plenty more) was generously donated by Mr Price Home to local underprivileged children’s home The Holy Cross Child and Youth Centre.

Handmade artisan Art at Work.

For handmade goodies (think gifts, decor etc) then you have to check out Art at Work. An empowerment project from Somerset West, these guys make all sorts of beautiful things and have a brand new website launching very soon.
